In engines with high power and correspondingly high torque, micro-movements can occur in the connection between the flywheel and crankshaft. Even with ARP- screws, there is a risk that play will build up at this point over time, which can lead to serious damage to the crankshaft. In the worst case, the flywheel can break off.
