Race conrod bearing shells for 2.5L TFSI engines in the Audi RS3 and TTRS. The bearing shells have been developed to withstand higher engine power. Longer engine life due to special coatings. The multiple coating improves heat transfer and maximises adhesion between the bearings and the conrods. The bearing shells are structured as follows: Lead, tin and copper coating Nickel coating Copper and lead coating hardened steel backing Further advantages: High strength despite reduced thickness. Improved oil film due to the improved oil bore. Enlarged ID chamfers on the bearing edges.
