BAR-TEK® upgrade Chargepipe suitable for BMW S58B30 G8X M2/M3/M4

The aluminium charge air pipes replace the OEM plastic pipes, which are still made of plastic even in the G series. At high boost pressure the pipes tend to burst. In the worst case, this defect can lead to engine damage due to fragments being sucked in. The aluminium charge pipe has an enlarged diameter compared to the original. This reduces air turbulence and increases the air flow at the same time. This leads to a faster response of the turbocharger and a higher maximum possible output. The engine software does not need to be recalibrated. There is no longer any risk of bursting, even at very high boost pressures. The kit also provides a good basis for retrofitting a water-methanol injection system. A connection for one is already prepared. Installation is relatively simple as this Charge Pipe Plug & Play is exchanged for the standard part. This charge pipe kit replaces the BMW original parts with the part numbers: 3718054843, 13718054840, 13718054841, 13718089754 Clamps, brackets and O-ring are included in the scope of delivery.
