The new Kompact VR09 Plumb Back from Turbosmart for the 1.0-liter EcoBoost is a replacement for the Fiesta's factory plastic billet aluminum BOV. The Plumb Back is a complete recirculation valve for quieter operation and OEM-style operation, with all the performance benefits of the Turbosmart BOV. The standard bypass valve on the 1.0-liter EcoBoost engines is a weak, diaphragm-style plastic valve - a valve type with a long history of failure. The Turbosmart billet aluminum replacement valve is precision machined for unlimited boost retention, excellent response times and high reliability. Installation is simple, and the valve bolts directly to the stock valve. No special tools are required, and all necessary parts are included.
