Measuring Strips for Bearings from Glyco

PlastiGage allows a quick and accurate check of the bearing clearance of split plain bearings, such as conrod or main bearing Glyco PlastiGage is a calibrated plastic thread, which is inserted into the oil-free bearing to measure the bearing clearance. When tightening the bearing cap, the thread is squeezed. After loosening and removing the bearing cap, the resulting width of the plastic thread and thus the bearing clearance can be determined using the enclosed comparison scale. The bearing clearance can be read in millimeters and inches. Measuring range: 0.025 to 0.075 mm. The set contains one 30cm long measuring strips (sufficient for around 5 4 cylinder engines), measuring instructions and measuring scale.
