Mosselman upgrade Oil thermostat suitable for BMW N55B30 Mx35i/M2

"Problems" with oil cooling are not foreign to the N55 engine, so we recommend installing the MSL oil thermostat. The standard oil thermostat reaches around 120 degrees F under normal driving conditions. The MSL oil thermostat opens at a lower temperature than the standard oil thermostat (at 85 degrees) and maintains a stable temperature between 95 and 105 degrees Fahrenheit, depending on the vehicle model. Installing the MSL thermostat provides a cooler oil temperature, which results in more stable performance, but most importantly, improves engine reliability. We recommend installing the thermostat, especially on tuned vehicles.The thermostat is plug-and-play and is manufactured directly at Mosselmann's own factory from a solid block of high quality aluminum. It features a true thermostat and is not an "always open" solution. The oil warms up just as fast as with a stock thermostat.
