The B58 Gen.2 engine is fantastic, but has a known problem: its charge air pipe. This pipe is notoriously fragile and can break even on stock cars under heavy load. If you are considering tuning your engine, it is highly recommended to replace the charge air pipe beforehand.Do88 has chosen a flexible connection between the two pipes that can cope with thermal expansion/contraction. Our solution is an aramid reinforced silicone hose with 3 curvatures. This tube design allows movement in any direction without folding or stressing the connections.To further strengthen the design, the tubes have CNC-milled 6063 hose connection ends with a wall thickness of 3 mm.
