The RTE Spherical Dogbone / Pendulum Mount Kit is engineered for Audi models equipped with the DQ500 7-speed DSG, designed to significantly reduce wheel hop by stabilizing the driveline’s fore/aft movement.
At the core of the kit is a precision-machined billet 6061-T6 aluminum bearing housing, featuring a stainless steel, Teflon-lined spherical bearing. This replaces the factory rubber bushing, offering improved strength and response. Weather-sealed construction ensures long-lasting, maintenance-free performance by protecting the bearing from dirt and moisture.
The pendulum arm, also CNC-machined from billet 6061-T6 aluminum, links the bearing housing to the subframe mounting point. Completing the assembly, RTE includes a Billet/Polyurethane Dogbone Mount Insert to secure everything in place with maximum rigidity.
